On the 1st of June, I packed an overnight bag and a few snacks to prepare for a very long drive to Los Angeles, California. I undoubtedly get my spontaneous attitude from my mom, so when she called me asking to help her move within a few days notice, I couldn't say no to adventure.
Because the drive was so long, I gave myself the opportunity to experiment. What better excuse that one led by adventure? So I loaded a roll of Kodak Gold in Jem's 35mm Pentax (thanks for letting me borrow it, babe!) and left all expectations at home. I wanted to see what I could capture, even if it was bad. Even if it was blurry or grainy: I wanted to just play! The results? Well, honestly the turn out was 50/50. But there's a touch of nostalgia in the grain, and the underexposed photos somehow seem more interesting and raw than if they were perfect.
